Anniversary, Birthday

LIVING THE DREAM

Yesterday was our anniversary.  42 years.   I just heard on the TV  -  "In Brazil, living the dream."  they're talking about soccer, of course.   But it made me think  "going to Brazil? is it a dream?"  We have talked our whole married life about going back to Brazil, Craig was a missionary there 1969-71.  Pele was a current hero then.

But honestly, my life?  Everything I dreamed it would be.  sweet.

Tomorrow, June 30 is Craig's 64th birthday!  So I hope this mission is a pretty good present.  We might have to go to Chuck-a-Rama for dinner.  Our awesome photographer did a great job at making us look great! Ryan Cummings btw.  

The following is kind of mushy and personal but I don't mind sharing with our favorite family & friends.   It's not original but it describes my feelings exactly!

 

      Craig and I have been together a long time now.

          We've laughed and cried

        and seen each other through

      our best and worst and everything in between.

                 And today, when I look at him,

      I feel even more love than I've ever felt before.

           We have a history together

        full of shared memories that keep us close.

             He is so much a part of me 

                and a part of my happiness

                  that it's impossible to imagine

      what life would have been like without him.

                  He is my partner and my love,

          and I ask nothing more than to spend forever with him.
